Ross McKenzie Ltd was established in 2006 by Ross and Karen McKenzie, building on Ross’s experience in the plumbing and heating industry since 1995. From our base in Fordyce, near Portsoy, we provide the highest-quality, most energy-efficient heating and hot-water solutions to homeowners and trade clients throughout the North-East of Scotland.

We’re a hands-on, family-run business — the people who design your system are the people who install and maintain it. We never sub-contract, so the quality and accountability stay with us from your first survey to your annual service years down the line.

We’re Hybrid and heat-pump experts and MCS-certified for renewables — a Daikin regional service & warranty partner and Sustainable Home installer, and an Intergas Platinum P5 installer and regional service & warranty partner. That means we can design and install everything from a high-efficiency boiler to a full air source heat pump, solar thermal, underfloor heating and MVHR system — and give you the MCS-certified design and quote you need to claim your grant funding.
